Chase + Brenda are Married! Lubbock, TX Wedding at Caprock Winery

I am one of those girls that prides herself on almost never crying, The Notebook and Toy Story 3 excluded (I mean really?? If you didn't cry during those movies you have no heart). Then, this wedding came along.

First, you need to know that Brenda is one of my closest friends. I love her. Seriously. We first got to know each other over a ski trip where we mastered the art of falling down a mountain. Honestly, there is no better bonding experience then when you are falling on your multi-layered butt, it's cold, and your shins have started to kill you from your rented ski boots. - Just a side note, I love me some skiing now! -

Fast forward to this wedding. I knew I was going to cry. But I was the photographer. Crying would not be conducive to taking fabulous photographs. So, I did what any normal person would do, I bawled my eyes out before the wedding began.

You try not crying during this moment. I bawled. I was ok for the most part and then they both turned away from me and I thought that I could keep my sniffles to myself. Yeah, failed that miserably.

That left me with only one option, hand my camera to Chase and get a photograph of me and the bride-to-be.

We aren't on a mountain anymore, but I can't help but laugh my much less layered butt off every time I am around her. Even if I was bawling minutes before.

Wow, time really does fly. This is the third summer in a row I have had the privilege of taking pictures of this gorgeous gal!

When I saw her today I could not believe how much older she looked. I honestly had to do a double take. Not only were the super cute, adorable chubby cheeks that you really just want to pinch gone, but this girl had gotten some seriously amazing gross motor skills since I last saw her. She could jump, skip, run, and haul some serious booty on her brand new bicycle.

So, without anymore delay, here she is: four years old but easily going on fourteen.

I never normally do this. And I mean, I have never ever done this before. But I decided to before and afters of little baby "O's" one year pictures.

Before:

The only editing that had been done to the photo at this point was cloning out and removing the red that had been left left around his mouth after some serious pacifier loving. I also had slightly cropped from the original photo. Seriously, look at those eyes! No adjustments here. They are THAT gorgeous!

After:

Lots of different things went on in Photoshop to get here. Lots of warming, the eyes were made to pop just a little more, some redness was removed from the nose and chin, contrast was added, and a slight vignette.

I love the dreamy look he has going. Such a stinkin' cutie!

I predict this little dude will be a lady killer. Somehow I just know it.

Meet one of my roommates.

His name is Landon and he is now seven years old.

And this is one of his cousins that attended the birthday bash.

Overall, the birthday was a success. He even got a brand new bike that at first seemed a tiny bit big but that he quickly mastered the very next day.

I maybe ate more cake than the birthday boy, but if you had tasted that cake you would have done the same thing! I have no regrets.

Fact: I am slow to post on my blog.

But, slow and steady wins the race...or the blog post. Whichever.

When my lovely, amazing, extremely talented friend came and told me she needed recent head shots, my first question was when are you available?

I knew this would be fun. Not to mention the girl had just recently chopped 12 INCHES of hair off.

So we got the head shot out of the way, no big deal. You'd never guess, but I actually took this shot in a storage building.

But afterwards was when we really got to have some fun. Seriously, this friend of mine can seriously get her model on.

And here is what is so impressive. She looked THIS gorgeous all while my shared puppy Simba was up in her face.

I really am. I always have all these good intentions when I hop on my computer to get so much accomplished and somehow my brain just wanders on to something else and before I know it I am googling about some brand new high chair made only in Kenya by a man named Albert.

Ok. That is not a true story. But computers are a pretty big distraction.

That said, I have some awesome new pictures from you from a family molded and created by the great Tyra Banks herself.

Super cute, right? They were this cute the entire time. And I told them about how cute they were. Over, and over, and over. I have pictures to prove the cuteness though, so it is ok.

Of course, their daughter, Miss Kenzie was there and, well. I love kids. Especially the undeniably gorgeous kind.

And then the mom, dad, and Kenz.

Chase + Brenda Engagement: Oklahoma Photographer

Chase and Brenda are two really awesome people.

It's so crazy because really, us meeting was by chance. Now, Brenda is way up there on my BFF list. We could talk all day and still find more to talk about.

I find that boys really do not understand the need for girls to just talk. And talk. And talk.

Chase is actually my boyfriend's brother. My boyfriend has a name. His name is Matthew. But really we refer to each other as bf or gf.

I know it's weird.

Those two boys really get a kick out of how much Miss Brenda and me can get our chat on.

But, I digress.

They are ENGAGED!!!! Which is incredible. So of course I took their engagement photos. Seriously. Not taking them was just not an option.

I sort of have a "thing" for tiny little frogs.

Like, I'm that person that will swerve in the road to avoid hitting a frog. I like them. I think they are just the cutest little things.

I ooooo and ahhh over them like they are someone's little baby.

Those frogs were not even the size of a quarter. Itty bitty baby froggies.

I had the pleasure of taking little miss Sydney's photos when she turned two last year. Well guess who just turned three?

Yep, Sydney.

It was so much fun getting to see her again. She has grown so much. I mean, her hair is so long now! And she was not shy this time around even a little bit. Not even just a little tiny bit. She was extremely talkative from the get-go and she could seriously run circles around me.

She made me really begin to question why I haven't been getting my booty to the gym lately. I have nothing on Sydney when she gets to going.

I took the engagement photos of these guys a little while back. Let me say, I have been so lucky with the people I've met doing photography.

These two people are some of the nicest people I have had a chance to meet. To top it all off, they are both funny and just so easy going. At least, that's the vibe I got at their wedding. Seriously, everything went off without a hitch. It all just rolled right a long with zero problems at all.

Now, most wedding have some little glitch go wrong. It happens. So for this wedding to go off so perfectly, DID I EVEN TELL YOU IT WAS GORGEOUS???? It was gorgeous, is nothing short of a miracle.

There is hot, and then there is El Paso hot.

Chad and Audrey had their wedding at the El Paso Botanical Gardens. Super gorgeous wedding. They managed to look amazing even in one million degree heat. This is no easy task. I know. I was there and by no means looked like a dazzling princess by the end of the night.

But in all honesty, I had the most amazing time. These are two amazing people and they should seriously consider moving to Lubbock just because I'd prefer them to be that much closer to me.

I've had an extended absence from my blog. It's been too long. It's been one extremely busy summer filled with weddings, plenty of kids, and lots of moving boxes.

I LOVE color. LOVE it. But sometimes I like to experiment with different black and whites instead of my go-to black and white conversion method. Yes, there is a method to my madness.

Luckily, I never run out of family to experiment on.

My test subject this time happened to be 3 year old Dalton. He never stops talking. He loves talking as much as I love color. And we have already gone over this, I LOVE COLOR.

I know this is a little late to blog, but I figured it was now or never.

Easter weekend for me included a wedding, some bowling and some good ol' church. Of course I brought a camera. Of course I snapped a million photos. It's what I do best.

I handed my baby (My camera..but not just any camera, my camera. My amazing camera) over to my sister so I could get a few new shots of myself and teach her a few composition tricks all at the same time. I think she did a fabulous job.

Even if I can be a hard one to take good pictures of sometimes.

Zachary + Melissa: Airport Surprise

I have an amazing hairstylist. Her name is Kippin and she works at Encore salon here in Lubbock, TX.

So Kippin calls me up and asks me if I would be interested in photographing her friend Melissa at the airport that night when her fiance would finally be coming home after being in Afghanistan from August until present.

There was one catch: I had to try and be secretive. I could take photos but neither Zach nor Melissa could know that I was there specifically for them.

I should now let everyone know that I am the least sneakiest person on the entire planet. I really do try to be sneaky. I try everyday. I also fail at that everyday. So instead of being a sneaky photographer, I took on the role of creeper photographer. I would have creeped me out had the roles been reversed.

So I have been neglecting the kids in my family. There for awhile I bothered them to let me take their pictures constantly. But for one reason or another I took myself a break.

That's when the tables really started to turn for me. Guess who started coming to who asking for pictures. That's right, they wanted me this time.

I could not rightly tell them no. Not after I had used them so much to fine tune my skills so much in the beginning. Plus, there was great sunlight. I am a sucker for perfect sunlight.

I took over 800 photos in under an hour. Sometimes I go a little photo crazy. But sometimes girls just need to have a little bit of a supermodel documentary hour. This was one of those times.

John + Brettney Sneak Peek!

I met with these guys the day after Thanksgiving to run around town and grab some amazing engagement photos. The weather was absolutely perfect. Especially considering that now it is averaging a cold 25 degrees outside.

To say I enjoyed myself while taking their photos is an understatement. It was just a huge reminder of why I do what I do: I love it. Plain and simple. I could not be more blessed.

I'm a laugher. So I laughed a lot during this shoot. I remember Brettney having to get on to John because she wanted a few "serious" pictures. They all turned out gorgeous though Miss Brettney. Every single one.

I can not wait for the wedding!

Food and family. These are the two reasons I absolutely love Thanksgiving.

My family is big. And loud. And hilarious. And they drive me crazy. But I absolutely love them.

As for food. Anyone who knows me knows that I eat. A lot. As often as possible.

First off, I love these guys. These two people are some of my closest friends who just happen to be about to get their marriage on.

When Amanda came to me about engagement photos you better believed I jumped at the chance. Seriously, taking their engagement photos was the absolute best excuse to hang out with people who I truly care about.

Let me just say, I am more than a little excited for their wedding.

Side note: By the time the shoot was over, I was left bleeding and with ripped jeans. If I don't get over being the clumsiest person on the planet, then everyone should legitimately be concerned about my well being.

Abby's Day Out

Decided to steal Abby away from her parents for a few hours today. For one, I needed a shopping buddy. For another, pictures sounded like fun.

Her momma, Miss Julie, had her all sorts of dolled up by the time I made it to her house even with the 20 minute warning I gave saying to expect me shortly.

Our phone conversation went as so:

Me: I'm coming to steal your kid.

Julie: The big one or the baby one?

Me: The baby one.

Julie: When?

Me: I'm about to leave right now.

Julie: You can pick her out clothes when you get her. Come on over.

Thank you family for always letting my steal your babies when the mood strikes.

After these pictures were taken, we got our shopping on and then went to the friendly neighborhood Chik-fi-la for some grub. I'm betting she sleeps hard tonight. It was a pretty big day for little miss thang.

Blog Post - Uber Huge Addition

So, Katy has gotten severely behind on the blogging.

I blame both the flu and my recent ear infection for this. Excuses, excuses. I know. I vow to work much harder at this blog business. I promise you that my dear readers.

First off, I have been playing some with this amazing Texas, fall sun we have right now. Annie helped me out. It looks warm, but it was extremely chilly outside. I assure you.

But I wasn't done playing quite yet. Here is another day with Abby, her brother, Jack, and their Momma, Miss Julie.

Gotta throw in a few of Dalton while I'm making the biggest blog post ever. He was recently taught his "goofy face." Trust me, you'll know it when you see it.

Still not home for good quite yet. I had a few days off and basically was in dire need of taking pictures of people instead of motel pictures.

People are just so much more fun.

The Many Faces of Dalton

So lately, everything has been super busy.

My posts may end up being a little sparse over the next two months. I have a photo gig that is going to take me that long to complete. Obviously, anytime I have a chance, I'll do a little blog post.

Like this one - I babysat Dalton a bit today. He happened to be in a great mood. He also happens to be the easiest person ever to convince to go outside and play. Who would have thought that boys like to swing and jump on the trampoline?

So, I titled this post "The Many Faces of Dalton," because I am pretty sure every single picture captured a completely different expression from him today. He has a very talented face for a two year old!

I told him to say, "Cheese," in that one. I might ask him to say it more often because hilarity can't help but ensue.

Ben and Dalton - I Love My Bubba

You know how hard it is to convince a boy, make that two boys, that they REALLY WILL enjoy taking pictures with you?

Pretty tough. Luckily, I bribe like nobody's business. This time, I offered playing at the park, bubbles and ice cream. They got a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

ALSO, you might notice these images are basically the greatest thing since sliced bread. This has everything to do with my new camera - the NIKON D700!! HOLY CRAP. Some stuff came up which has allowed me to buy this camera a full year ahead of schedule and basically, I am in love with it. The color is gorgeous, the images are perfect. I could go on and on.

Gorgeous photos. And at the end of the day, the boys were still ready to go at it again.

Go figure.

In my family, we have almost always had at least one child still in diapers. I like it this way. I really, really like kids. This might have something to do with the fact that currently, I have zero kids. I simply borrow from family. I want 4-5 of my own one day. To the poor guy who wants to marry me - prepare yourself.

Make no mistake, I can change a diaper with a blindfold on.

So, sometimes I babysit a little bit on the side. This is "J," the most well behaved guy under the age of two I have ever met.

We were in his gorgeous backyard for these pictures. Unfortunately, I could not take anymore. Mosquitoes. They love me. I mean, REALLY love me.

I hate bugs.

We covered a lot of ground. Found some great new places to take pictures. I refuse to get stuck in the photographer safe-place rut. Besides, new places keep me from getting bored.

I might post a few more pictures at some point. Pictures are like chocolate, you can never have too many. Well, at least pictures won't add 10 pounds to scale.

I Love This Rainy Weather

Overcast days can make for some amazing pictures.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some sun. But I am tired of sweating at least three buckets worth every time I walk outside to take some pictures. It has been drizzling ALL DAY today. The weather has kept me from leaving my home for more than a doctor's appointment I had this morning. I lack any desire to work out.

Fortunately, I took some for fun pictures yesterday of Ben and Dalton, big brother and little brother, respectively.

I LOVE Ben in black and white. He look so handsome!!

In this next picture, check out all the stuff on Dalton's face. That happens to be Chik-fil-a barbecue sauce. Yum!

This is what Dalton looks like in a lot of his photos. I know he looks upset, like I might take his juice cup, but what is really happening is that he never stops talking. And when he talks, he ends up looking upset in photos. Which I think is hilarious.

Then, he goes and look all angelic! Oh, the many faces of Dalton.

Family Pictures...dun dun dun

Family pictures. The word can strike fear in the hearts of many. At least if you are in my family and you have to take pictures with about 16 other people. In a studio. With your little sister who has worn her Ugg boots for the past month straight and is only just now taking them off.

Let me tell you something. Ugg boots make your feet smell horrendous when worn for long period of time.

But I digress. I actually had a family photo shoot this past Thursday and it was hilarious, not horrendous. It is obvious how much love this family has for one another. It was also obvious that everyone in this family was a jokester made apparent by the numerous bunny ears being thrown up throughout the shoot.

Love how many generations are in this picture. Notice the belly bump. We have four generations all in this one little picture.

In this next picture, everyone gathered around to pray for the little, baby boy. Precious.

Adventures in Scouting

Scouting - looking for a new area to take pictures.

I figure it is pointless to scout without a model. So, I asked my sister to please, please, please join me for a couple of hours in exchange for some photos.

Of course, we had to get her all dolled up first. It is more fun that way.

Let me just say, WOW! These pictures turned out so well! I have over 1000 pics. It is going to take me a little while to edit all of these and as it is, I am already dead on my feet. So over the next couple of days, I promise to try and get some more pictures on here!

The last few pictures are a couple Maggie took of me. I plan on getting her to join me in my photographic endeavors as she gets older. For now, I am training her.

I babysat this little gem today along with her little brother.

Let me just say, I wish it were as easy as taking her picture to my hair dresser and asking for this color, but I can say from experience it is absolutely impossible to get this color on my head of hair.

All hair complaints aside, she is absolutely adorable!

4th of July with the Family

So we all (17 of us total) took off last Friday in a caravan consisting of 2 suburbans and 1 actual van. Our destination, Dallas. A good 6 hour drive for us as we have kids and inevitably are always hungry.

I am glad to be home. I like to travel. But I love my bed more than any other bed out there. I really do have a great bed.

On Saturday, we hoofed it to the mall for a good 3 hours before heading off to a Texas Ranger's game. We had a suite. We had endless food. I was a fairly happy camper. No, I am not hard to please.

Of course, I took some pictures to share. Obviously, taking pictures of fireworks shooting up is not my strong point. But I think you will get the gist.

Home now and ready for a crazy busy week. Crazy is so much more fun than boring though, if you ask me.

Sarah and Chris' Wedding!!

After being there for 10 minutes, I was completely at ease. Taking pictures anywhere puts me in my element. Thankfully. It also helped that every single person I met and talked to was extremely sweet to me.

Extremely.

Sarah was amazing. This woman was absolutely no bride-zilla. She was calm and collected.

Like I said, I lucked out with this wedding!

The pictures!!! Oh my, the pictures! I can honestly say I took some of my very best shots at this wedding. I mean, they all just came out gorgeous. I took over 900 and probably 800 of them need zero editing whatsoever.

I am so thankful to Chris and Sarah and the main photographer, Luke for letting me be a part of this wedding.

Sunday Funday

Sunday was an experiment.

You see, I have one favorite lens. I love it. I mean LOVE it. Problem is, it weighs about a million pounds.

I have another lens. It weighs basically nothing. It is new. I like it a lot. However, I have been ignoring it in favor of the million pound lens.

No more! I took it out yesterday and it went over amazing. I love the results it gave me. I now promise to use it more. Or at least make sure I bring it with me when I plan on shooting for longer than an hour. I have stick arms. They don't hold up well under a million pounds of weight.

The brunette in these photos is my cousin, Bree (Annie's big sister). She has been camera shy up until now. Then, out of nowhere, she decides to let me take her pictures.

I gave her and Maggie the right to wear whatever they wanted. So, they did.

What is funny is that Maggie likes smiley photos whereas Bree likes to look super serious.

Also, the first picture shows how dark the sky was by the end of the day. A crazy storm hit us just minutes after we decided to call it a day.

So, my friend Amanda just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Kevin. I made sure to let her know she WOULD have amazing photos of her ring. None of those pictures where it is just a blurry blob.

Those would simply not suffice.

So, I took some photos for her and I am extremely happy with how they all turned out!

Saturday it was time for another shoot. I am serious when I say I really want to master my lenses.

Also, I am finally putting my name on my photos after having several people urge me to do so. I figure it is about time.

So for this shoot, I took Maggie, Annie and then had Miss Becca meet us there. All the photos really turned out amazing. I will post more pictures soon, this is just what I have done so far!

Oh goodness. Where do I start this post? Today was busy. Extremely busy.

I was able to take a ton of photos over the weekend to share with you on here now though! It was my way of practicing with my new lenses. My new, AMAZING, I have fallen in love with, lenses.

Also, I know I promised a website awhile back. I spent some more time researching exactly what I want and am now working on it. Should be up and fully functional by Friday. Trust me, it is worth the wait.

I will start out with Miss Abby. What you should know: Abby hates grass. Coercion was necessary for all pictures of her walking in the evil, green areas.

Next we have Miss Rachel. I snapped these pictures in probably a 3 minute time span right before she left for home. Sometimes I feel like I force the camera on others, but in her case, it was a must. The pictures speak for themselves. Gorgeous!

Now for the little miss who really went out of her way for me today, my sister, Miss Maggie. I mean, she let me take picture after picture with no complaint, even with the heat. I have so many more great photos of her, I just need time to edit them! But here are a few of my favorites thus far.

I love this dog. I have her so incredibly spoiled it is absolutely ridiculous. Suffice to say, every morning upon my awakening, she expects a treat.

I figure she owes me for all those treats.

I needed photos, she needed to cover her debt. It worked out well for both of us.

I forgot to add to the flower post that I just maybe got in my two brand new lenses yesterday as well!

Let me just say, it was love at first picture as soon as I was able to slap them on my camera. Expensive, yes, absolutely amazing, also yes.

I had a couple kiddos let me do a quick test run of both lenses just to get used to the feel of them. Here are a couple of the pictures I was able to take. Yes, my models are all fabulous. :)

I am more than a little excited to get a chance to use my lenses again. Over the next couple weeks, I plan on really breaking in my lenses so prepare yourself for loads more pictures to come!

I am getting my photos edited. It is harder to edit while I am down and out than I thought it would be. I have to hold my head a certain way or I start to get some serious swelling going on. Between that and the Hydrocodone, editing is taking longer than I am used to. If you want to see just want I am going through, go to My Goofy ol' Nose.

Happy Mother's Day!!

So, I have this surgery coming up on Thursday. Until then, I will be attempting to take as many pictures as possible as I will be stuck at home on pain killers for at least one week and perhaps even two.

Note to self, no editing until after the surgery. You will be bored, Katy. You will be stuck at home.

But, I just took so many adorable photos.

Photoshop Extravaganza

The other day I took Dalton out to take a few quick pictures. Nothing major, he just happened to be in a great mood (as he has been in all this week..how odd for a two year old boy) and when I asked him if he wanted to take pictures he responded with one word: "pit-urs." Close enough.

So after taking all these photos, I decided it was time to have some fun with photoshop. Play around with different variations of the same photo and practice putting collages together. Yes, I give myself photoshop "homework."

Dalton was attempting to kill ants in this one. As a side note, after thinking about how adorable he looked attempting to kill those suckers, I realized I was actually laying in an ant line trying to get this shot. I have about 10 bites now. Lesson learned.

The elusive Ben. Oh Ben, I will get photos of you. Just you wait.

Of course Annie saw the camera out and came running for some photos of her own. Her cute-ness overwhelmed me and I gave in and snapped a few.

There was a bee. Bee's are scary. They make you scrunch up your face in unattractive poses and force you to take pictures elsewhere.

A rose by any other name...

This is not exactly a new post but I feel like it should be done. All of these shots are basically practice with my macro lens. A macro lens allows you to take extremely close shots of your subject without losing any details. It is also much harder to use than the lens I used to take all the portrait shots seen thus far on this blog.

There are two separate sections of photos in this post. The first set, I played around with the colors a lot. I wanted to experiment and have a little fun. The second group of shots (the red roses) I wanted to stay more true to the actual colors while still giving the pictures a little bit of a "pop."

Annie and Maggie

So this past Saturday I decided it was time to take two of my favorite girls downtown to see if I could incorporate a more "urban" vibe into my photos. I love how all of these photos turned out and we had so much fun going everywhere to take them. Afterwords, I rewarded my two little models with some 17 Again. Yes, I bribe my models with Zac Efron. Whatever works.

This was actually taken at the end of the shoot. Very pretty. I suggest you click on it so you get a better idea of the picture up close. Actually, do that for all of my photos. Otherwise, these small photos just can not do them justice at all.

This is what we call "serious face." Annie is a huge goofball. So, I let her have her way for about 5 frames and then I call one of two faces. Either, "smile face" or "serious face." The woman delivers.

Calling for a "smile face" was not necessary. She was just having fun.

One of my ABSOLUTE favorite pics from the whole day. I can not tell you what they were both laughing at. It was one word. It was inappropriate. It was hilarious.

Easter, the continuation...

Easter!! It is times like these that I am truly grateful to have such an abundance of children running around my home. Not only do they provide entertainment, but they are also single-handedly getting my portfolio off the ground.

We began our day with some church followed by a delicious meal at the Lubbock Club.

This means that I must of course begin this photo exhibition with a picture of dessert-fried cheesecake. There were many options, but this one was hands down the coolest.

For drink, we had the tea. Of course. If you met my family, you would know we hardly drink anything else besides cherry coke and water. Unfortunately, I did not take anymore cuisine pictures. Can you blame me? We were a hungry group and everything was demolished in record breaking time.

Now is as good a time as any for some little Annie supermodel documentary hour.

There were plenty more, in case you could not guess.

This young lady is my 13 year old sister. She is currently at that camera shy time in her life. Everyone that meets her tells me she is exactly like me at that age, except even quirkier. I love her tons and tons.

Here we have one of Annie's brothers, Ben. He absolutely hates me to take pictures of him. How him and Annie are related is beyond me.

This happens to be one of my brothers. Trent here is 20 and looks like an absolute stud muffin if I do say so myself.

This is Annie's older sister. Bree happens to be a year younger than Maggie but looks much older. This is not alright by me. I would much rather all the girls look like they are 10 years old until they at least graduate from high school. Too many older boys out there and all.

Now the hunt begins!! Here were the rules: no fighting, kicking, scratching, crying, biting, pushing, or screaming. After covering all the rules, everyone was sent on their way. Absolute chaos was the best way to describe it.

Action photos are not my forte, but the next two photos give a fairly good idea of why it was impossible to get photos of the older kids running for eggs.

I then discovered that focusing on Dalton, who is two and moves quickly but without covering near as much area, would be much more rewarding to try and photograph.

This is his face at the end of the day after realizing he had no more eggs to find.

Like I said, absolute chaos. But I would not trade it for anything.

Easter of 2009

Oh goodness.

Easter was interesting. Not only did I create nine fabulous gift bags for all the kids but I also stuffed 110 eggs with candy galore. Overkill, perhaps. Tons of fun, oh yes.

The First Post

More than a little excited for this first blog post. I figure there is absolutely no better way to begin my very own photography blog than with some pictures.

So, without further ado, I give you the marvelous Miss Annie. Please note that the following picture was taken last week, pre-haircut.

She happens to be my gorgeous, 10 year old cousin. She is easily one of the sassiest girls I know and one of the brightest as well. You probably will not be able to tell that she adores the camera at all, I am sure.

Here we have one of my favorite pictures of the day: the fish face.

Followed by this gorgeous picture. She honestly makes this easy for me. Modeling is definitely her forte.

Am I worried the boys are going to fall head-over-heels? Absolutely.

Am I worried that she knows the boys are going to be head-over-heels? Worried, no. Terrified, yes.

Stinky, rotten? You'd better believe it!

But she hides it well.

And regardless of how rotten she is, girlfriend is absolutely stunning!!!
